"Superb"
We want to say that Colleen did any extraordinary job taking care of us while we were there. She helped us with all our questions and needs. The scrambled eggs cooked to order were an unexpected treat. From what we could tell she was doing everything and she was great!

Perfect location- across the street from a beach, close to the Oak Bluffs ferry, walking distance to restaurants, bus to Edgartown and Vineyard Haven at the door. Parking is on the street. Huge front porch for coffee or wine while watching the water. Old-fashioned house at the beach- nothing fancy.

We have enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. It's an old building with character. Our room was nicely furnished and the bathroom was also very well equipped. Especially the terrace, facing the sea is a great place to read a book.

We loved the location. We were across the street from the beach, Inkwell Beach, to be exact. We were within walking distance from Oak Bluffs' city center and loved the access to shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. The Inkwell Beach Cottage staff was pleasant and helpful.

Quaint, great view, convenient, super friendly attentive staff, water filling station, borrowable amenities ( beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, dishes) clean comfortable cozy room. Wonderful front porch to enjoy the view! A/c unit in window was nice and cool.

Inkwell beach cottage is about as charming as it gets in Marthas Vineyard. The front porch, views of the sound, and secret garden like landscaping are worth it alone to stay here. We cannot say enough incredible things about the staff, especially Kahleen (I apologize for my spelling if not correct) ! She balanced beautifully checking to make sure we had everything we needed while maintaining a peaceful environment at the cottage. We arrived very early on the ferry and were greeted with fresh towels for the beach and storage for our bags. Once back from our day, our beach suite was ready, extremely clean, and cozy. Prosecco with refreshments awaited us on the porch just in time for happy hour. After a run and swim in the sound, we enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the deck each morning. The location is perfect, walking distance from all the restaurants & sites in oak bluffs. While most guests gather on the porch, it felt very private despite knowing there were no vacancies during our stay. There was plenty of parking right across from the cottage as we drove on the ferry with surfboards and beach gear in tow. Staying at the Inkwell beach cottage made our trip even more special. We will absolutely be back!

Thanks to Colleen, Cee, Jayden, and others for making this a nice anniversary stay. The breakfast and afternoon Summersdown on the porch was something to look forward to. Everyone was very accommodating. The baked goods and homemade drinks were amazing.

Beautiful, classic beach home in a great locationclose to ferry, shops, restaurants and easily bikeable to many other parts of the island. So close to the beach! Beautiful beach sunrise with your coffee from the lovely, large porch.

The location was perfect, right on Inkwell Beach. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning and freshly baked goodies in the afternoon. Colleen was the perfect host. She even danced with us in the porch I highly recommend the Inkwell.

The location was wonderful, as it was close to the ferry as well as walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the inn was clean and conveniently located. It also had everything you needed, like beach towels and chairs.
